

As soon as you know you will need an extra place for your child please email us. We will reply by email to confirm whether a space is available.
Extra sessions must be paid for within 48 hours of booking, in advance of attendance.
Please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be attending a session that has been booked. Fees will still be incurred.
If you do not contact us, your child will remain on the register. If a child does not attend the nursery as usual, we will contact the parent to confirm that everything is ok.
Carmela Coady Childcare provides a nutritious breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and dinner. Children do not need to bring toys or personal belongings such as jewellery from home and we advise against this in case of any losses or damage. Please send younger children with a small bag which contains a spare set of clothes in case they are required – all clothes should be clearly labelled.
Children who are walking need appropriate footwear for the weather and a waterproof coat with them at all times, even if the weather is forecast is warm when they arrive in the morning. No umbrellas please! Please also bare in mind the temperatures for the seasons when clothing your child.

We use the exclusion periods provided by Public Health England and our ‘ is your child well enough to play?’ wellbeing and involvement observation. Please let us know as soon as possible by contacting Carmela Coady Childcare by phone or emailing us if your child is not attending so we can adjust our registers.
If you know you are going to be late – or in an emergency – please call the Carmela Coady Childcare phone as quickly as possible. The children’s care is always our priority, so calls and texts might not always be answered immediately.
If you are unable to speak to us, please leave a message and you will be contacted as soon as possible.
Each child at the nursery is allocated a member of staff as their key person, who will be your first point of contact. The key person will monitor your child’s settling in, as well as their care, learning and development whilst attending Carmela. Having a key person will give your child a sense of security and ensure continuity, which can be particularly important if they take a while to settle, or have had any upsets outside of Carmela.
We take pride in its friendly, approachable staff members who encourage the best communication possible between the nursery, the children, your child’s school and you, their parents, or carers. You can speak to your child’s key person, the manager, or the owner if you wish to raise any concerns.

Payments are due in advance on the 1st of each month, any payments not received by the 15th will incur a £25
late payment fee and you may be asked to settle your bill before your child can resume attending.
Additional days can be booked subject to availability, 48 hours notice is required
In Exceptional circumstances, day swaps may be considered, this is subject to our discretion & availability & will incur a £10 administration fee
If your child is absent for any reason including sickness or holidays booked session fees still be charged at your normal rates including meal charges
